From what I've heard 1301's are made in italy while a300 patrol is made in america (somewhere in Tennessee i do believe) some people like to use that as a reason why the 1301's would be built better. The 1301's recoil system is not in its stock like a mossberg 930/940. Which in my opinion makes it easier to make stocks for.
